Coping with Corona Virus - How Video consultations can help you through this difficult time

As a practice we want to reassure patients that we are currently open for business as normal. We are following strict Department of Health and BUPA Health guidelines to ensure screening and hygiene processes are maintained to the highest standards. Patients can be assured that as a CQC registered practice, our cleanliness and safeguarding are in the best interests of our patients and staff health and we take our responsibilities very seriously.

Whilst working with NHS GP services and undertaking private physiotherapy appointments we are more than aware that access to GP practices for advice and management is very restricted during this current crisis. If you are not able to access your GP and require advice, assessment and guidance with a musculoskeletal injury then we are available for treatment, and for those not able to access our clinics we can offer a VIDEO APPOINTMENT or alternatively TELEPHONE CONSULTATION option. Appointments can be booked online or via our reception team. We use the Zoom application for video calls, which can be downloaded free to a computer or smartphone. We can also use the FaceTime, Skype & WhatsApp as well if this is easier for you. The cost is £30 for 30-minute appointments.

Although the crisis is causing serious disruption this does not detract from the fact that people will still have ongoing joint and soft tissue injuries that need care and appropriate management. Our team of skilled clinicians can now provide this online at a convenient time by video link.

Protecting our staff and patients is our key priority whilst maintaining support for everyone needing ongoing care and advice. Please ask for further details.
