Running
Our Physiotherapy team have a wealth of experience in treating local runners, from Park Run to Ultra-marathon. Our team are highly skilled at treating a wide range of running injuries. Steve, Abbie, David, and Emma have a high level of running experience themselves, which aids in their understanding of injury and rehabilitation. We understand the frustrations when you can't run and we do our best to get you back in the hills or on the roads as soon as we can. Steve also runs a weekly strength and conditioning class for runners to help prevent injuries and improved performance.
Golf
Our physiotherapy team have a wealth of experience in treating golfers of all standards, from club amateurs to professionals. Gregg is a keen golfer and has additional certificates in golf injury management. He offers 1:1 injury rehabilitation as well as group based strength and conditioning classes for golfers. He also leads The Golf Clinic, which is a specialist service at White House Clinic
Tennis and Squash
We are in an area with a wealth of local tennis and squash clubs. We treat many members of all standards, attending with a variety of different injuries.
Football
Due to the popularity of the sport, we are very experienced in treating football related injuries. Sprains, strains, fractures and breaks are all common, and we have the expertise and treatment techniques available to ensure that you can return from injury as quickly as possible. Climbing
Rock climbing has always been popular in the Sheffield region. It is gaining more popularity since it's inclusion in the Olympics. Our physiotherapist James, a keen climber himself, has a specialist interest in climbing injuries. He leads the Sheffield Climbing Clinic, which is a specialist service at the White House Clinic. His knowledge of how to treat climbing injuries plus his understanding of the biomechanics of climbing means that he can effectively assess and treat your issue and get you back climbing asap.
Cricket
With cricket being a vastly popular sport in England for both men and women, our physiotherapists and clinic partners CRICFIT offer a wealth of experience and specialist knowledge to allow you to overcome your cricket injuries and performance shortfalls.
Weightlifting/ Powerlifting
Weight training has always been a popular adjunct to sports training and the evidence for its use in injury prevention and rehabilitation only continues to growth. However, as a sport Powerlifting and Weightlifting (Olympic lifting) has also continued to become more popular. Our MSK team lead, Ric, has a particular interest in the development and delivery of coaching these movements to a range of athletes, from novice gym goers to competitive Olympic lifters, as well as utilising their benefits for rehabilitation and injury prevention.
