Home Visits
Physiotherapy consultations from the comfort of your own home. Get in touch for more information
The White House Clinic can provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment in your own home, or place of residence. We cover the surrounding areas of each of our clinic locations and appointments can be arranged to suit your needs.
Rapid access to the treatment you need
With long waiting lists for community NHS physiotherapists, private physiotherapy delivered in the comfort of your home can offer quick access to the treatment you need. Without the need for a referral from your GP, you can be confident in finding a physiotherapist that specialises in the treatment and care you require from the White House Clinic.
Why choose to have a Home/Domiciliary physiotherapy visit?
Home visits allow specific problems to be assessed, diagnosed and addressed in the privacy of the home, residential care or nursing home. Ideal for those who find it difficult, are unable to travel or perhaps have mobility problems. It is especially necessary if travelling to one of our clinics could be detrimental to the treatment received.
What is included in a Home/Domiciliary physiotherapy visit?
Once your appointment has been booked at a time convenient for you, our physiotherapist will undertake a full assessment. This includes both taking a subjective history of your complaint or pain symptoms, and then undertaking a full physical/objective examination of the areas required. Our physiotherapist will then formulate a personalised treatment plan to fit your needs, ability and lifestyle. This may include the use of manual therapies, or a bespoke exercise program (with progression) and will also include advice on how best to manage your condition at home.
