Amy graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2013 with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree. She later completed her MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy in 2018.
During her career, she has worked in many MSK fields including private clinic work, occupational therapy and in General Practice. Currently Amy works as one of our First Contact Practitioners in General Practice for the White House Clinic. This role relies heavily on her ability to make rapid and accurate diagnoses, clinical problem solving and plan of patient management.
Amy is qualified as in injection therapist and a non-medical prescriber meaning she works at an advanced level and has a wide scope of skills to manage patient caseloads.
As a clinical Team Lead for the First Contact Practitioner services across Derbyshire, she is passionate about the clinical development of her team and them providing excellent care and management to patients.
Outside work, her passion is travelling and seeing new places; she is partial to some baking!
