Carl completed his undergraduate Physiotherapy degree in 2014 and very quickly followed his passion and specialism into Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Sports Rehabilitation. Since then, Carl has had extensive training in this specialist area and prides himself on providing care using the latest evidence-based treatments and rehabilitation that gets results.
He has completed a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine, conducted by the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK and Primary Care Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Medicine Society, and has worked with amateur and professional athletes across a broad range of sports helping them to improve their performance with an evidence-based approach.
Carl also previously ran his own and very successful clinic (CSA Physio), where he developed an excellent reputation for his skills in Strength & Conditioning and Injury Rehabilitation, before moving under the umbrella of the White House Clinic.
Carl now splits his working week for the White House Clinic between treating patients within an NHS GP setting as a First Contact Practitioner, and then his more rehab-minded private MSK physiotherapy work. These two stands of work ensure that Carl is able to both make rapid and accurate diagnoses to ensure patients receive the best treatment available as soon as possible, whilst also honing his skills in rehabilitation to assist patients on their journey to injury recovery.
Outside of work, Carl is a sports enthusiast and loves to hike. He competes in CrossFit competitions, cycles in the Peak District regularly and is a keen runner.
