Hetakshi Thakar

Originally from India, Hetakshi completed her Bachelors in Physiotherapy in 2020 and moved to Cardiff in the same year to pursue her career by undertaking a MSc in Physiotherapy with specialist interest and MSK and Neuro-MSK. She gained a first class degree in 2022 and decided to stay in the U.K.

Whilst studying full-time, it was Hetakshi’s passion to continue working clinically and so used to work part-time as MSK physiotherapist in Cardiff managing both private and NHS patients. This, along with her Masters’ knowledge, gave Hetakshi an invaluable experience in MSK.

After completing her MSc degree, Hetakshi moved from Wales to England and worked as a First Contact Practitioner (FCP physiotherapist) with one of the PCNs in Leicester and made great contacts with GPs in the area. To get better exposure in the newfound field, she joined White House Clinic in2023. Her specialist area of interest is in the assessment and treatment of the lower limb, particularly knee and ankle joints.

Hetakshi works full-time as a FCP in General Practice for the White House Clinic. This role relies heavily on her ability to make rapid and accurate diagnoses to ensure patients receive the best treatment available as soon as possible.

Outside work, Hetakshi enjoys playing badminton, cycling, star gazing and exploring coffee shops.
