Matt graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a first class honours degree in BSc Physiotherapy in 2018.
Since then he has worked in the NHS within MSK clinics, and in private practice for the White House Clinic.
His special area of interest is in the assessment and treatment of the lower limb, and particularly the knee joint. This interest developed after suffering an injury to his ACL himself. Matt also enjoys the strength and conditioning aspect of rehab and getting people back to their pre-injury performance levels and beyond.
Currently alongside his MSK physiotherapy role, Matt also works as a First Contact Practitioner (FCP physiotherapist) in General Practice for the White House Clinic. This role relies heavily on his ability to make rapid and accurate diagnoses to ensure patients receive the best treatment available as soon as possible.
Outside work, Matt plays rugby for Sheffield Tigers and through recent lockdowns has taken up running and cycling to keep fit.
