Nanette is a highly experienced and qualified Upper Limb Extended Scope Physiotherapist (ESP). She is specialised in providing a high level of expertise in the management of routine and complex upper limb musculo-skeletal conditions.
Nanette offers specialist musculo-skeletal assessment of the shoulder and elbow and treats a wide variety of upper limb conditions, both pre & post operatively.
She has a specialist interest in the assessment and management of shoulder instability (structural and non-structural) both in adults & children, and also has additional experience in management of chronic pain. Nanette’s management approach involves a wide range of therapeutic skills, manual therapy and functional based exercises.
Alongside her part-time MSK clinic work, Nanette is also part-time Team Lead (clinical) for the First Contact Practitioner (Physiotherapy) services with Townships 2 PCN for the White House Clinic. With this, Nanette's forte lies in clinical problem solving, diagnosis and plan of management, and she is passionate about the clinical development of her team and providing excellent over-and-above care and management to her patients.
Nanette has completed a Masters degree in Advancing MSK Physiotherapy and is qualified to provide injections. She is a member of the British Elbow & Shoulder Society and is AHP representative for Yorkshire & Humber region. She was awarded the BESS Travelling Fellowship in 2015 and presents at a national level. She is highly regarded as one of the region’s most experienced Shoulder Physiotherapists.
