Simon graduated from Sheffield Hallam with a first-class hons degree in Physiotherapy.
Since then, he has worked in many different environments including the NHS and a variety of sports teams.
He has worked as a senior MSK Physiotherapist within the NHS and has spent 4 years working for Sheffield United Academy working with young athletes, providing rehab and emergency pitch side management. His other experience includes working for Sheffield Rugby Union Football Club first XV for 2 years and managing his own private clinics in affiliation with a local CrossFit gym.
Simon has a strong love for sport and used to spend his time coaching tennis, having worked as a level 2 tennis coach at Beauchief Tennis Club and a variety of other clubs in north Derbyshire. This has helped him excel in MSK practice as he understands the demands of sports and the importance of quality movement to not only improve performance but manage injury.
Currently alongside his MSK physiotherapy role, Simon also works as a First Contact Practitioner (FCP physiotherapist) in General Practice for the White House Clinic. This role relies heavily on his ability to make rapid and accurate diagnoses to ensure patients receive the best treatment available as soon as possible.
In his spare time, Simon still likes to dust off the racquets for a game of tennis and if he is not in the physio clinic, or on court, he would often be seen outside running, cycling, golfing, or walking his dog, Otis.
