Steve Canning

Steve is the Clinical Director and a Senior Physiotherapist at the White House clinic and has worked at the clinic since 2005. He qualified with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University in 2002.

He proudly carries on the tradition of family Physiotherapist's into the fourth generation. His Great-grandfather trained to be a Physiotherapist after being blinded in the Battle of the Somme in The First World War.

Steve treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, with his particular interest being sports injuries and spinal rehabilitation through manual therapy and exercise.

In his spare time you can generally catch Steve running round the streets of Fulwood and in the Peaks, probably in training for his next marathon attempt! He still has the ambition of beating his London marathon PB of 2hrs 43min before he gets too old.

Steve has a 7 year old daughter and 2 year old son, who he loves taking swimming, running and cycling
