Zsóka Balogh

Zsóka qualified from Keele University in 2015 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. She is a fully registered clinician with the HCPC and the CSP.

Since qualifying, Zsóka has worked in Premier League level football clubs and in women's and girls' football as a lower limb and rehabilitation specialist physiotherapist. She has contributed to injury surveillance projects of The Football Association too. Therefore, she is very passionate about the evidence-based rehabilitation of traumatic injuries and their orthopaedic management post-operatively.

Zsóka has also worked in the NHS ever since she obtained her degree. First in Sheffield where she completed a broad range of specialist rotations. However, as she was always passionate about MKS and orthopaedic care she then specialised into this field and accepted a role in Rotherham where she was based in an MSK outpatients department, as well as within a very supportive Primary Care Network with a wider multidisciplinary team.

In the aforementioned role, she has established a targeted hip and knee class, its content and delivered it several times a week; like she is doing here at the White House Clinic too. She enjoys welcoming patients into her groups, enables them to reach their higher-level rehabilitation goals in a supportive environment.

Zsóka is passionate about education. She takes great pride in clearly informing her patients about their conditions and management options.

She has also finished her Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner training. However, she remains very keen to continue to further her own knowledge as well as help to support more junior staff and students when she gets the opportunity to work with the next generation of physiotherapists.

Currently alongside her MSK Physiotherapist role, Zsóka also works as a First Contact Practitioner (FCP Physiotherapist) in General Practice for the White House Clinic. This role relies heavily on her ability to make rapid and accurate diagnoses to ensure patients receive the best treatment as soon as possible.

Outside of work Zsóka is a lover of hikes, the outdoors and all sports. This is due to her own professional handball career both Nationally and Internationally spanning across Hungary and Denmark where she grew up. Zsóka is also a keen traveller and would do anything for a bite of Danish pastry.
