Rugby
Due to the contact element of the game, many different types of injuries occur in Rugby. Many of these injuries are focused around the head, neck and shoulders due to a large amount of force in intense collisions. As well as contact injuries, Rugby players have to sprint, jump, land and turn, which results in injuries also occurring in the lower limbs.
Rugby is a highly physical contact team sport with two different formats: Rugby Union and Rugby League. Although Rugby originated from Rugby school in Warwickshire, England, it is now a worldwide sport. World Rugby said over 10 million people were playing in 2018.
