White House Clinic puts on staff training day to enhance patient experience

on
25/11/2024

We recently conducted a highly engaging and practical administration staff training session aimed at improving patient experience and establishing White House Clinic as the go-to destination for physiotherapy and sports injury care. The session, led by renowned business consultant Andy Hanselman, focused on fostering proactivity, enhancing customer engagement, and identifying actionable strategies for both the business and individual team members.

Thinking in 3D

Andy, an expert in helping organisations achieve remarkable results, guided the team through a dynamic program designed to revolutionise patient experiences and drive exceptional outcomes. Through his unique 'Thinking in 3D' approach, Hanselman encouraged the attendees to be 'Dramatically and Demonstrably Different' in their interactions with patients.

The session's objectives were centred around several key areas:

  1. Elevating Patient Experience: Our team learned techniques and skills to consistently deliver outstanding patient experiences, ensuring that every individual who walks through the doors of White House Clinic receives exceptional care and attention.
  2. Proactive Patient Engagement: Team members were encouraged to adopt a proactive approach to engage with patients at all stages of their journey, building strong relationships and establishing trust.
  3. Differentiation as the Premier Healthcare Provider: The training emphasised the importance of differentiating White House Clinic as the ultimate destination for physiotherapy and sports injury care. Our team explored strategies to set the clinic apart from competitors, reinforcing our position as the leader in the industry.
  4. Commitment to Actions: The training concluded with our team identifying actionable steps to be implemented at both the business level and as individual team members. By setting clear goals and action plans, we aim to continuously enhance our operations and deliver exceptional patient care.

Andy's approach was engaging, thought-provoking, and practical. He emphasised that the training was not about the latest fads or magical solutions but rather a chance to review existing practices and identify areas for improvement. Through interactive discussions and exercises, our team was challenged to think critically and generate ideas for creating positive changes within the clinics.

The training session was not a mere lecture-style delivery but rather an interactive experience that encouraged active participation and collaboration among our team members. Andy’s informal and action-oriented approach created an environment that fostered creativity, idea generation, and practical solutions. Notably, the session emphasised real-life application and did not involve any role-playing activities.

This is just one example of the kind of event we put on for our team to help their continuous professional development. We also regularly put on social events for our team with the highly anticipated summer BBQ just around the corner! You can click here to learn more about careers at the White House Clinic.
